I worked with Britney and Julia.  We made a candle alarm clock. We started by inserting some paper clips down the candle. Then putting a light metal on top of the candle so as the candle melts down the metal will touch the paper clip with the power pack hocked up to it making the light up a light or buzzer.  Positive: No Test Minus: Carving the candle  Interesting: It actually worked  link to video

Your group is going to be designing , making and testing an invention. This is something that uses electricity to do a job or solve a problem . Last week in music I set a goal to get some of the song done seeing i had barely anything and now I have like 30-40 seconds which is amazing!!! Today I hope to rehearse with everyone else and make it come together.

I had a break through moment and actually made something sound good :)))))

In music we are learning to play instruments. Me and Hayley are trying to to play the keyboard. Our group is trying to learn to play im yours by jason mraz. Sophie and Britany are playing it on the guitar and we are playing on the keyboard. I haven't got to far through the song but I have learnt all the keys are a lot of chords so to me I have came a long way since the start. Today I plan to get more done and have some of the song done.

For music today we learned about chords on the piano. We had to recreate chords they Mr Mcdonald gave us on the piano/keyboard then play them back to someone. Me and Zara practised and played around on the piano and tried to put together some chords that sounded nice. We also learned that minor notes are more dull and major notes are more uplifting. Our next steps would be memorising the notes so I don't have to look at the chart.
